Lowestoft Air Festival

THE Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival takes place on Thursday and Friday, July 24 and 25, and tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to the town.

The annual event is followed on Saturday and Sunday with the two day Honda Formula 4-stroke series which will see spectators packed along the shoreline as the boats speed across the water in front of them.

The four days of spectacular entertainment, thrills and spills is the highlight of the year for the town and brings tourist and investment into the area.


 

Countdown to 12th Air Festival

WITH only five weeks to go before the 12th Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival, the final flying programme is taking shape. The two day spectacular will include 50 minutes worth of aerobatics from the Red Arrows, a flypast from two fighter jets and a powerboat parade on the last afternoon, preparing crowds for the weekend of racing ahead.
