THIS long woodland trail cutting through the green grass and
tall trees of Dunwich has been selected as The Journal’s
Picture of the Week.
It is the second winning snap for a thrilled
Ann Friend, of Ship Road, Lowestoft, who was one of the competition’s
first winners back in October when her image of her sister-in-law's
dog Hope took the prize.
This particular image was taken three years
ago during one of Mrs Friend’s strolls through Dunwich
Woods.
“I always take my camera with me, as I never know when
something might catch my eye,” she said.
Mrs Friend will be
presented with her winning photograph in a 12in x 10in frame, mounted
and inscribed, in a prize worth
more than £60 from Picture Studios, of London Road North,
Lowestoft.
The photo will also go forward to the next final of winning
images where, together with her fellow prize-winners, she will
have a chance to win her image in a printed 12in x 18in photo
block worth £130.
