Lowestoft Journal Photo Competition

Picture Studios is often working in partnership with the Lowestoft Journal and they are providing the weekly prize for our photo competition Picture Studios 179 London Road North Lowestoft NR32 1HG www.picturestudios.net

THIS close-up look at an eagle has seen Bob Fallon, of Ash Close, triumph for the second time in The Journal’s Picture of the Week competition.

Soaring above the other entries, Mr Fallon’s golden image is his second winning snap, after previously taking the prize for his memorable image of the BoldDog motorbike display team. This particular photo was taken last summer at the Bird of Prey Centre in Stonham Barns, one his favourite visiting places.

Mr Fallon will be presented with his winning photograph in a 12in x 10in frame, mounted and inscribed, in a prize worth more than £60 from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft.

The photo will also go forward to the next final of winning images where, together with his fellow prize-winners, he will have a chance to win his image in a printed 12in x 18in photo block worth £130.

How to enter

We are now accepting entries for next week’s competition. They have to be taken by amateur photographers and we would prefer the pictures to be digital and between 500KB and 1MB in size. We will also accept prints.
