THEY epitomise everything girlie and have even made Barbie popular again.

Twins Amanda and Sam Marchant were this year's surprise stars of Big Brother after their baby doll clothes, cheesy catchphrases and obsession with anything pink saw the nation take them into their hearts.

Now the bubbly blondes are about to have teenage girls wanting to smell like them too, after signing up as the faces of Reydon company Young and Pure's new perfume.

Samanda is the first perfume product from director and mum of three, Lianne Miller, who specialises in natural skincare products especially designed for teenagers.

And at the launch on Wednesday night in Kensington, London, the twins, who live in Acton, joined Lianne to showcase the fragrance.

“We found each other really. I was looking for a collaboration with brand ambassadors to support our target market, someone teenagers could relate to,” said Lianne.

“They are fresh, fun and passionate, which was key criteria that I was looking for and when the girls came out of the house we had discussions with them. The girls are lovely, they are very warm, down to earth, energetic and lively.”

Lianne said Sam and Amanda would be accompanying her on various trips round the country to promote Young and Pure products.

The eye catching packaging is predictable pink, containing an image of the twins, along with a hand written message to add a personal touch.

The twins, who are currently in the UK singles charts with their version of Barbie Girl said: “We're so excited to have our own perfume. The packaging features the same picture as our Barbie CD cover so it should be really easy to find on the shelves.”

Samanda will be available in Morrisons, Superdrug, Woolworths and The Perfume Shop and from www.youngandpure.co.uk priced at £14.95 from November 5.
