Lowestoft Journal Postbox
Jolly good show, Denes
I WOULD like to congratulate The Denes High School on their production of “Boogie Nights” which ran for three nights last week.
This show was produced entirely by students with support from their mentors, Natalie Dores, Laura Simons, Richard Ainslie and Peter Collins.
Hey, it can't be so bad if you live here

I AM writing in reply to David Batley's letter (Postbox, February 26).
I think it was an unfair attack on Lowestoft.
If it's so bad, why does he live in Pakefield, Lowestoft?
I like nothing better than walking all the way from Pakefield along the beach, past the little beach huts and along the promenade on a lovely sunny day with the sea sparkling and the award winning beach.
Talented young performers deserve praise

I FELT I had to write a letter to compliment the previous letters written in the last two weeks Journal about Kirkley High School's musical production of Hairspray.
A tale of three piers
26 February 2010 14:32
RECENTLY I had to follow a visit to Southwold Pier with a walk along Lowestoft seafront, which took me past both the Claremont and South Piers.
Whilst I had long been aware of the difference in quality regarding these venues, seeing them all in such a short space of time emphasised the startling differences.
