You may recall the 2 red circular shelters that were nearby? The Council removed them last year 'to deter drug dealers/users, drinkers etc' causing problems in the evenings. As seems usual with our Council, they didn't fully think this through. OK these new seats are better than nothing, but they don't encourage people, particularly older folk, to sit awhile & enjoy the sea air, view, or perhaps an ice cream. And, whilst we're on the topic of seating: Why is it Lowestoft has 2 Award-winning beaches but no deckchairs??    Report
