She was a professional singer with the stage name Nicola Christie and was on the New Faces TV show in 1974. She is from Teeside, and the last time I saw her was when I took her Down to Lowestoft in a removal van. Could you let me know if her name rings a bell? Thank you Barry    Report

When we were friends she was called Marie Trundley, unfortunately I can't remember what her husband at the time was called - she just used to call him Trun (he was a bass player) We lived next door to eachother in Bacup from 1975 to 1977 (Approx) My name is Barry Barnes and my mobile number is 07818 426 895 Thank you so much Michael, sorry I didn't reply sooner but I'd lost hope and stopped checking the site. 11/01/2010, 6:57 PM michael Joined on 13/10/2009 Posts 2 Re: Looking for an old friend hi barry, my name's kath, and im marie's best friend.......michael rang and told me he'd just seen your message.....sorry ......we're very slow in this part of the world .....ha ha !!!!!!! haven't told marie about this yet, as im sure you would understand, it might make her a bit uneasy.......i can tell you though, that she's changed very little, and the years have been kind......she has a son, michael, and sold her business a couple of years ago, and is very much enjoying her new found freedom.......!!!!!! i know she remembers little of her time in bacup, except that she was very unhappy with peter ......like all us ladies of a certain age.....old farts.......you might have to fill in the blanks......!!!!!!      look forward to re introducing you both ......  regards,   kath ......    Report

Pete - of course I remember him now, Marie used to whinge to me for hours about him! I'm in the music biz and you can look at me (if you can stand it) at www.sinnerboy.co.uk so if you're uneasy about telling Marie at least she can see what I look like and that I have a public prescence so I'm not a secret serial killer (well not any more, I gave it up!) We were good pals back then (I used to travel around to gigs with her when I could) I am living in Glossop Derbyshire with the son that was born when I knew Marie (he's 33 now and I still can't get rid of the bugger!)
