Two plots of land not far away far from a holiday park are set to be auctioned off next month.

People now have the chance to own the "broadly square parcels of land" off London Road in Kessingland, Lowestoft which are being offered for sale at auction.

Marketed by Auction House East Anglia, and described as "land for sale", the plots are due to be sold on a freehold tenure at an online auction on Wednesday, November 1, with a guide price of £35,000 plus fees.

The property description from the auctioneers states: "Five acres (stms - subject to measured survey) of strategic accommodation land with hope value."

The auctioneers said: "This lot comprises of two broadly square parcels of land located close to the roundabout junction of the main A12 dual carriageway and the B1437 London Road."

With "2.8 acres of land sandwiched between the A12 and London Road", the "other 2.2 acres" is described as fronting the A12.

It adds: "The land is opposite a holiday park and the boundaries to the A12 dual carriageway are bordered by mature trees and hedges giving good screening from the road.

"Access is only via London Road which provides good visibility.

"The land was previously cropped and is sold with vacant possession, on instruction of Trustees."

The auctioneers said: "The land is being sold subject to an overage in the event of future development.

"The overage will be 50 per cent of any uplift in value created by a planning consent for alternative use or development, and will be for a period of 25 years."
