A former pub that dates back to the 1950s could soon be set for a new lease of life.
The Ship Inn, which closed as a public house in 1957, is understood to have been used for storage since the late 20th century.
The "derelict" former pub on Beccles Road in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, is set to go under the hammer and be auctioned off in the new year.
Marketed by Auction House East Anglia, it is due to be sold at an auction on February 7 with a minimum guide price of £80,000 plus fees.
Described as a pub and dwelling of two storeys, it features three bedrooms on the first floor.
With the pub and three bedrooms being sold on a freehold tenure, the property description from the auctioneers states: "The Ship was a former public house in prominent position on the edge of Oulton Broad.
"The building is derelict and is need of complete restoration.
"Access is restricted.
"There is a beer garden to the rear and a new boundary is going to be created by the owners as they will be retaining some of the land.
"This building would create a beautiful home subject to gaining the necessary planning permission."
It features a "Bar, lounge, ladies and gents toilets and kitchen" on the ground floor, with "three bedrooms" on the first floor and "Hard standing parking to the front, access to the beer garden" to the exterior.
