From abandoned pubs to a pet shop, here are five interesting properties going up for auction in Norfolk and Waveney next month.

1. Bar 12

The building in the heart of Norwich, formerly known as Bar 12 and La Rouen, is going under the hammer.

The pub, which closed in 2018, sits on the corner of Farmers Avenue next door to the Castle Quarter shopping complex.

It consists of a ground and first-floor bar and dining space with a kitchen and customer toilets.

A planning application has been submitted to Norwich City Council to transform it into a boutique hotel.

2. The Ship Inn

The Ship Inn in Beccles Road in Carlton Colville closed as a public house in 1957 and has been used for storage since the late 20th century.

Described as a pub and dwelling of two storeys, it features three bedrooms on the first floor.

The building, which has a beer garden to the rear, is derelict and in need of complete restoration.

3. Pamela's Restaurant and The Carlton Garage

Auction House East Anglia said the restaurant, which had been trading for more than 15 years, is in excellent decorative condition and includes a dining room, kitchen, cocktail lounge and more.

The lot in Wellington Road in Great Yarmouth also includes the adjoining Carlton Garage which provides around 14 undercover off-road parking spaces. 

Both buildings have planning permission to be converted into flats with the garage having the potential to be transformed into seven flats and two houses. 

4. Bevan Street

A shop that is currently home to All Pets in Lowestoft is up for auction and is to be sold with vacant possession.

It is in an extremely central location just a stone's throw away from Lowestoft Train Station and has over 1500 sq/ft of space including rear garaging and parking.

The lot also includes the first-floor flat which has been sold on a 999-year lease. 

5. Pebbles

A shop occupied by Pebbles, a small, family-run beautician, is going under the hammer next month.

This property brings in £10,000 in yearly rent and includes a reception area, the main salon to the rear, a toilet and storage area and a treatment room in the basement.

The business signed a 12-year lease in August 2019 having occupied the shop since 2007.

All these properties are going under the hammer with Auction House East Anglia on February 7.
