A ladies mountain bike was stolen from a school car park during an early morning theft.

Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the theft of the bike in Lowestoft.

The ladies purple Carrera Hellcat mountain bike was stolen from Poplars Primary School car park on St Margaret's Road, Lowestoft at some time between 10.10am and 10.20am on Thursday, March 14.

Police said they are keen to trace "an unknown male wearing dark clothing" in connection with the theft.

A police spokesman said: "The suspect had been on a dark coloured mountain bike, and had a black medium sized dog.

"The suspect met another male wearing a blue hoodie and dark coloured bottoms/trousers.

"The bike was locked, but the suspect cut the lock."
