A home was burgled while its owners were away last week.

At midday on Saturday police received a report of a burglary at an address in Ranville, Carlton Colville.

A man who had been checking on the property while the occupants were away had noticed the back patio doors had been forced open and two of the four bedrooms looked messier.

A large amount of jewellery was recorded as missing.

Suffolk police are investigating and would like to speak to anyone with information or who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area between Sunday, March 31 and Saturday, April 6.
