The current Wissett Hall is Grade II listed, and is believed to date from the 17th Century.

It is built of red brick and is superbly positioned in a secluded and elevated setting, at the end of a long tree-lined drive, with commanding views over the established parkland grounds.

The mature grounds extend to 22 acres and are themselves surrounded by rolling countryside.

The house features impressive Jacobean style brick chimneys and an interesting, circular bell tower on the northern wall.

Inside the accommodation is impressive with large, light filled rooms with lots of original features including extensive oak panelling, exposed beams and panelled doors.

The spacious accommodation includes four reception rooms, seven principal bedrooms, three secondary bedrooms and five bathrooms.

There are the four reception rooms plus a study, a kitchen/breakfast room, a utility room, cellars and a cloakroom.

Wissett Hall is approached by two, long gravel driveways, the main one set in a red brick wall, and with wrought iron gates.

The main drive leads to an avenue of mature trees and on to a wide parking sweep leading to the main entrance.

There is a delightful bluebell meadow to one side of the front parking area.

The grounds have been immaculately kept and are mainly laid to grass with a number of impressive mature trees intermingled with numerous soft and hardwoods.

At the north eastern corner of the house there is a crinkle crankle walled garden, with garden lighting, clipped hedge and well stocked beds, around a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

There is also a large greenhouse with a vine and vegetable garden.
