Lings Motor Group at Lowestoft is stepping out with singing and dance troupe Stage Stars as its new partner.

The partnership is the ideal Christmas gift for the Stage Stars with the sponsorship including polo shirts for the entire troupe to give members a united identity.

The motor group linked with the new troupe, for five to 14-year-olds, after making contact following a product placement deal with Waterlane Leisure Centre which saw it display the new Honda Civic.

Lings Motor Group, at Lings Wharf, Riverside Road, will also attend spring and summer fetes and other events at which the Stage Stars will be performing with a display of cars to promote the motor group’s brands and the troupe.

Ben Thompson, Lings Honda dealer principal, said: “They are a relatively new troupe that has grown quickly over the last six months from about 20 members to 56.”

It is also planned to have a dance troupe section for the under fives.

Mr Thompson said: “It is all about putting something back into the community and helping a worthy cause.”
