A fire crew tackled a small fire in a children’s play park opposite a primary school.

Officers were called to Fen Park opposite Red Oak Primary School in Kirkley, after the blaze was reported by a parent around 8.30am.

One fire engine from Lowestoft South attended the scene, arriving at 8.35am and standing down at 8.41am.
