Budding footballers at the Lil Kickers Academy have been given a boost by Pleasurewood Hills.

The family theme park has sponsored the T-shirts for the 150 club members, who attend sessions in Bradwell, Gorleston and Lowestoft.

Lil Kickers is for children aged between two and seven and gives them the chance to develop their football skills and improve their fitness levels, at the same time as developing their social skills.

To mark the partnership, Woody Bear joined the academy’s Christmas party to present the team with their shirts. He also became an honorary club member for the evening by wearing his own club T-shirt.

Adam Noble, general manager at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft, said: “We’re really pleased to support the Lil Kickers Academy and are looking forward to working with them throughout 2018.”

John Allitt, owner, said: “On behalf of Lil Kickers I would like to thank Pleasurewood Hills for sponsoring my Academy. The sponsorship has now meant that I’m able to provide every child that attends Lil Kickers with the club football shirt – this is something I’ve been so passionate about since starting the Academy in 2015.

“Not only has it helped me manage this but it has already brought so many smiles and much happiness to all my Lil Kickers – especially when they’ve met Woody at the theme park and at our Christmas party.”
