This dream-like image of Pakefield beach at sunset has been crowned as the Journal’s Picture of the Week.

This dream-like image of Pakefield beach at sunset has been crowned as the Journal’s Picture of the Week.

Karen Rampling of Kessingland was walking on the along the shore and snapping seaside images with her new iPhone when she captured the image.

“I layed down on the gravel so I could get the shot of the sunset through the bush,” she said.

Maintaining a passion for photography and the ocean, Mrs Kessingland was thrilled to be this weeks winner “I am very happy,” she told the Journal.

Mrs Rampling receives a 10in x 8in framed version of his photo from Picture Studios, of London Road North, in Lowestoft town centre. Entries can be of any subject but they must be digital images.
