Jake Aldridge, from Lowestoft, has been nominated in the male act of the year category at the International Achievers Awards, designed to celebrate hard-working and unknown talent in the entertainment industry.

The nomination is yet another achievement for Mr Aldridge, who saw off 109 East Anglian musicians to win the audience choice gong at the 2017 New Music Generator Awards.

“I’ve been writing songs for 13 years and I feel like the pieces are finally starting to fall into place,” said Mr Aldridge. “I’ve received so much support over the years and I’m so grateful for those that are behind me. Winning this award would have a huge impact on my career.”

The awards ceremony will take place on July 21 at London’s Clayton Crown Hotel. Visit the International Achievers Awards website to vote for Mr Aldridge.
