Lowestoft Town fans are being asked to dig deep in the memory of the murdered sister of Trawlerboys defender Rory McAuley.

Kerri McAuley was beaten to death by her former partner Joe Storey in January, and her family have been raising awareness of domestic abuse ever since.

Last month, this newspaper launched Kerri’s Campaign, a bid to raise £10,000 for domestic abuse charity Leeway in Ms McAuley’s memory, which is currently edging nearer its target.

Ahead of this afternoon’s Bostik Premier clash with Harlow Town at Crown Meadow, members of her family and campaigners will be collecting around the ground for the appeal.

To help support this vital cause, keep an eye out at the ground for the official Kerri’s Campaign buckets and jumpers and help ensure the £10,000 goal is reached.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
