The controversial roadworks at Lowestoft’s Station Square are due to carry on until the weekend at least.
The £130,000 works by Anglian Water started on January 23 and were expected to last five weeks.
Because of them motorists can not turn right into Waveney Road - leading to a mile long diversion.
The works have lead to traffic problems and traders in the town claiming they are losing business.
Waveney District Council has also complained about them and the disruption caused.
Anglian Water has apologised for the disruption and delays.
See Friday’s paper for a report on the works and when they should be finished.

Came through there yesterday. Just a load of cones and traffic lights. Not a workman, hole or shovel in sight! What`s going on?
