A Lowestoft man has been arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weapon and in possession of cannabis.

The 22-year-old man was arrested on Saturday April 1 at 12.15pm on Norwich Road in Lowestoft.

The arrest came after Suffolk Police stopped a vehicle on Katwijk Way, in Lowestoft, before a pursuit followed and a knife was recovered.

He is to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on April 24.
