The RNLI crew and Coastguard teams from Lowestoft, Southwold and Aldeburgh were called out more than an hour ago to a nature reserve to the south of Southwold and helped the male to safety after water had reached his waist.

The details of the rescue operation near Dunwich were confirmed by the Humber Coastguard rescue co-ordination centre and the Lowestoft Coastguard team.
