Libraries to host special events

A series of events will take place at libraries across Waveney in the coming days.

The Grand Canyon – a display of photographs by Frank Smith – is now on view at Kessingland Library until June 24, during library opening hours.

Next Tuesday, June 19 Southwold Library are holding an outdoor event. Try new dishes or enjoy old favourites as paella, sangria and dessert is enjoyed at Southwold boating lake and tearoom from 2pm to 4pm. Tickets cost £12.

At Lowestoft Library, on Saturday, June 23 from 11am to noon, the Junk Orchestra will perform as part of the Once Upon a Festival aimed at children aged seven and over. Tickets are free but please contact the library to book. Join Mr Junkman and discover the sonic delight of everyday objects rescued from the urban wasteland. Learn how to build your own mini junk orchestra at home. Experience and discover music from the twilight zone to foot stomping fun.
