The Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, is appealing for help.

Gary Bennett, head of Team Lauren Lou fundraising and a finalist in this year’s Pride in Britain eastern region awards, said the group is looking to expand their volunteer list “as we are expanding every week.”

Mr Bennett said: “We need volunteers at various street collections in Beccles and Lowestoft and major shopping stores to help us fundraise for Cancer Research UK, breast cancer care and our local appeals fund.

“We also do table top sales and tombolas to help fundraise, but we need you to join us as we are friendly and help so many people. We can give you a reference for job applications or use us on your CV.”

If you feel you would like to be part of the team contact Gary Bennett on 07880 957871 for a discussion. Volunteers must be 16-plus, honest and friendly.
