It was billed as a special homecoming show for the return of a popular club.
And it "did not disappoint" - packing punches aplenty - as the first Triple A Boxing Club show in Lowestoft in 20 years was hailed as "fantastic."
The homecoming show at the Wherry Hotel saw Triple A boxing club return to its "original venue" as a series of bouts were held last month.
Having relaunched with regular classes and a new gym at NR Health and Fitness Club on Pinbush Road in south Lowestoft, the club's first show saw three skills bouts and six competitive bouts - all featuring club boxers - held.
A club spokesman said: "Wow - what a great first show back in 20 years - it did not disappoint."
The club's Blake Chynoweth produced an excellent performance to be awarded with a trophy for the bout of the night - but all of the club's boxers were praised with "some great young talent coming through" according to onlookers.
"The feedback from everyone was amazing, with very well matched boxing," the club spokesman added.
"We’re hoping to put a show on in October."
The club thanked all the eastern counties officials and doctor for supporting the weekend, all sponsors and companies who attended the show, the away clubs for bringing the boxers, Tanya Mayfield for taking the photos and all club volunteers who helped put the show together.
Sponsors - including Olly Carr of Access Plastering, Kirk Graham of G2 Access Scaffolding, Jake Klien of Anglia Access, Danielle High of Well Well Well, NR Health and Fitness and Amy Matthews of board, box and graze - were hailed for their support as the spokesman added: "Without them we wouldn't be back boxing.
"Special thanks to the Wherry Hotel for allowing us back at our old venue to put on a fantastic show."
There were also special awards presented on the night to club coaches John Cremin and Frank Bacon by the mayor of Lowestoft, Alan Green.
They were honoured with recognition awards from Lowestoft Town Council for "all their hard work volunteering and for services to the community" over many years.
