in Division One of the Lowestoft and District League sponsored by Lauren Lou Cancer Fundraising Mutford and Wrentham still lead the way after beating Norton 4-0, R Davies getting two goals.

Oulton Broad are two points behind after losing 3-1 at Oxford Arms who are in third place. Southwold beat First and Last 11-0 with Varley and Freeman scoring four apiece.

In Division Two Waveney A stayed top after a 4-0 win at Norton Reserves. Beccles Caxton lost 2-1 at Earsham Reserves while Hopton beat Ellingham 5-2, with Markham and Payne scoring two each. Kirkley B notched up a 4-1 win at home against Spexhall Reserves and Crusaders were 5-2 winners at home to Bungay A with B Chisolm scoring a hat-trick.

In Division Three Celt Rangers stay top after beating AFC Oulton 3-0. East Coast beat Mariners 2-0 while Loddon Reserves and Art Eternal fought out a 2-2 draw. Stanford Reserves beat Redwood Utd 3-2 away.

Southwold Rugby Club wrote a new page in their history in front of several hundred cheering fans when they smashed Millwall in a play-off to gain promotion to London 2NE.
