A popular CBeebies duo are set to bring their new stage show to the Marina Theatre.

The Chris and Pui Show takes place this Sunday (October 30) from 2pm with all the toys and characters from their hit TV programme ‘Show Me Show Me’.

With songs, comedy sketches, a dash of magic and heaps of joining in, the family show is suitable for all ages.

“It’s a great delight to be coming back to Lowestoft,” said Chris Jarvis – who has been involved with Children’s BBC for 23 years.

“It was one of the first theatres we came to when we starting touring and we’ll be forever grateful for the wonderful welcome we received.

“Seaside and coastal towns are my particular favourite - who doesn’t want to be beside the seaside?

“So Lowestoft is up there with the best - not least because it’s in stunning Suffolk where I started on Radio Orwell and close to Pleasurewood Hills.”

The show allows the audience to catch the Gingerbread Man, marvel at the Ugly Duckling becoming a beautiful swan and watch as Miss Mouse attempts to zoom to the cheesy moon in her rocket.

“The Marina provides a tremendous introduction to theatre for young children,” Chris added.

“It’s got that enchanting, classic theatre design but it also has a welcoming front of house staff and a technical crew who always put on a dazzling show.”

Tickets are priced at £12.75 for adults, £10.75 for under 12’s and a family ticket for four people costs £43.
