A medieval market place is set to round off the year with a sprinkling of festive cheer.

Halesworth Christmas Food and Drink Market will take place on Saturday, December 9.

Event organiser Kate Button said: “We will again be putting the market back in market Place with the final market of year.

“The beautiful medieval market place will once again be bustling with activity as 32 local food and drink producers and artisans ply their wares as they would have done in days gone by.

“The Market Place is always beautiful at this time of year with the fabulous Christmas lighting.”

Award winning producers such as Opa Hays Brewary, Two Magpies Bakery and Valley Farm Vineyards will all have stalls.

Ms Button added: “The great thing about the market is that it demonstrates just how many really outstanding food and drink producers there are in the region.

The market runs from 9.30am to 3.00pm.
