A bird’s eye view of the Latitude festival site has shown how the once quiet patch of Suffolk countryside has been transformed into a sprawling hive of activity.

This unique perspective of Henham Park, near Southwold, was captured by drone earlier today, as the crowds below were enjoying the second day of music, poetry and theatre, across the 330 acre grounds.

The footage shows campsites where many of the 30,000-plus festival-goers make their home for the weekend, with some of the covered arenas in the background and the River Blyth in the distance.

Suffolk-based aerial photography company Skynamix Limited, run by technology guru Matt Porter, secured permission from the festival organisers to take the images using one of its drone cameras.
