A popular organist will perform in concert in Lowestoft next week.

The latest concert at the Lowestoft Organ and Keyboard Club will feature Chris Powell next Tuesday, October 10.

Mr Powell will perform at the Parkhill Hotel in Oulton at 7.30pm next Tuesday.

Having lived in New Zealand aged from tw0 to five before returning to England, Mr Powell started learning music back then and progressed so fast he was appearing at the Blackpool Tower when he was 18. He plays a whole range of styles from Theatre to Ballroom to Modern popular music, and tours extensively in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Holland and the USA.

A club spokesman said: “He has made numerous CD’s and DVD’s and is always in popular demand, even running his own festivals. We are definitely in line for another fantastic evening at the Parkhill Hotel. The concert starts at 7.30pm and the entrance fee is £6.
