A popular ‘world jazz’ band will return to Lowestoft this weekend.

Another dose of top music is being promised as Pangaea perform at The Mariners Rest in Rotterdam Road this Sunday, December 17, at 3pm.
Admission is free to attend the concert at the popular pub in Lowestoft.

Founded in 2010 by saxophonist Dave Ingham, Pangaea play modern jazz that is inspired by music from all over the world - Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, European folk – and draws on the groove orientated work of musicians like Pharoah Sanders, Abdullah Ibrahim and Yusef Lateef.

The band’s line-up will feature Dave Ingham (tenor and soprano saxophones / piano), Rebecca Waller (violin), Stephen Mynott (guitar), Vilem Hais (double bass) and Azzy King (drums).
