Meet the two new penguin chicks or hold crabs and touch starfish at the interactive pool, and this weekend visitors meet the Octonauts, the team of undersea adventure heroes from CBeebies. 

Art & Nature

A lively partnership of artists and biologists organise this popular summer school for children aged 8-12 years, now in its fourth year. Through experiments with art and science adopt worm’s-eye views and bird’s-eye views. Price includes four full days of activity, all materials, snacks and refreshments.

Ancient Egyptians built wonderful pyramids to honour their dead and prepare them for their journey to the afterlife. This special event is an opportunity to find out more and includes building a pyramid model to take home and looking at Egyptian artefacts.

Squeeze it, shape it and film it at this summer holiday plasticine and animation workshop. Try your hand at filming your own animated plasticine character with the chance for your film to premiere at the ongoing Super Models exhibition.
