Flood alerts have been issued for parts of the Suffolk coast.

The Environment Agency has issued alerts for areas around Leiston and Southwold as a result of high tides.

People are being urged to take extra care as coastal roads and footpaths are likely to flood.

A spokesman for the Environment Agency said: "We expect to see high water levels in Lake Lothing in Lowestoft as well as high sea levels along the Suffolk Coast, impacting on beach access points."

It comes after the county was battered by strong winds during Storm Isha on Sunday

Winds of more than 50mph have been forecasted to hit Suffolk on Tuesday as Storm Jocelyn strikes the region.
