A fundraising coffee morning at a Lowestoft-area primary school has boosted a worthy cause.
A Macmillan charity morning was held at Corton Primary School on Friday, September 29 – with the event hailed a 'huge success.'
Organised by the Friends group at the school in The Street, Corton, the special morning was enjoyed by schoolchildren and members of the local community.
With cakes donated by parents, the children purchased them at break time and a school spokesman said: 'Our Macmillan coffee morning was a huge success. The overall total of £205.16 was raised – thank you to all who donated cakes and supported the event.'
