There's lots to celebrate at Lowestoft Town Tennis Club.
The club held its annual end of season tournament on Sunday, and in perfect weather conditions nine mixed pairs battled it out for the Juler Trophy. Played in one section, all pairs played everyone else, and the winning pair was not decided until the final match of the day. By a narrow margin the wining pair were Sally Juler and Alan Reeve, who just beat Sheila Brabben and Andy Podd.
Played with an automatic handicap, it meant many of the matches were very close, and at the end of the day five pairs were just one game from deciding the runners up spot.
Lowestoft's exciting new venture into coaching expansion plans saw three members of the coaching team of 'Heads Up Tennis' join the competitors to answer any questions ahead of their coaching initiative joint launch next year.
Club teams continued their winning ways this season by being awarded trophies for winning both the division one and division two titles in the Lowestoft & District tennis league.
