The Cats Protection Anglia Coastal branch is appealing for more volunteers across Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
The charity will be relaunching the branch and is looking for people to foster cats, help with fund-raising, publicity, welfare and rehoming.
Regional development manager for East Anglia, Lin Lockwood, said: 'I'd like to encourage any local people who love cats to volunteer and help make a real difference to cats in the area.
'Volunteering for Cats Protection is a rewarding experience because it gives you the opportunity to be part of a truly worthwhile cause. We gain a lot of satisfaction from giving unwanted cats a second chance in life, as well as working with like-minded people so, if this sounds of interest, then please contact us.'
