LOWESTOFT'S giant pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk, is now in full swing at the Marina Theatre and The Journal has some exclusive pictures from the production.
Starring Britain's top piano playing dame, Bobby Crush, Sue Hodge from BBC comedy Allo' Allo and Hi 5 actor Chris Edgerley, the production has been going down a storm with audiences since it opened last weekend.
Produced by the award-winning team behind last year's critically acclaimed Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Jack and The Beanstalk is at the Marina through until January 2 with the performances on Christmas Eve featuring a special guest appearance by Father Christmas, the show also runs on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
On New Year's eve the Marina hosts the return of its popular New Year's Eve gala, this year featuring the National Concert Orchestra with a programme to include works by Strauss, Liszt and other great Austrian composers as well as more traditional songs including Auld Lang Syne.
