POLICE need to trace a teenage boy, described as white and wearing light coloured clothing, after he stole a purse from a home in Lowestoft.
The quick-witted burglar struck at the home in St Peters Street about 11.30am to 11.45am yesterday (Monday, December 13).
A resident was inside the property when she became aware of the teenager in her home. He fled but it was then discovered that the red leather purse, containing cash and cards, had been stolen.
'If you see a man in the area with the purse, you have information about the incident or the offender please call DC 1087 Pybus at Lowestoft CID on 01986 835300,' a police spokesman said.
