AN open day is being held to give local people the chance to have their say about the next stage of the transformation of a Lowestoft park.
Work to refurbish Fen Park has been going on throughout the summer with heavy machinery on site draining the ponds. Now the volunteers who are trying to improve the park want local people to let them know how they want to use the park in the future.
A consultation open day is being held on Friday between 10am and 2pm. Visitors will be able to look around the recently refurbished ponds and find out about the planting plans for the islands.
They will also be able to talk to members of Fen Park Friends about increasing the recreational use of the park and what they would like to see any future funding spent on.
