I HAVE nothing but praise for the James Paget University Hospital.I was admitted to the hospital to undergo total knee replacement surgery. I was very nervous about having such a major, if routine operation, but I need not have worried.

I was admitted to the hospital to undergo total knee replacement surgery. I was very nervous about having such a major, if routine operation, but I need not have worried. I was treated with dignity, respect, compassion and kindness.
Not once did I feel alone as the patients in my ward were monitored round the clock. The staff of Ward 6 were, without exception, professional, helpful, always available to help and nothing was too much trouble.
I was also impressed by the emphasis placed on cleanliness and infection control.
I am at home now recovering well and would like to thank the hospital, especially Ward 6 orthopaedic, for everything they did for me.
