On Monday, May 18, at Bloodmoor Hill Community Centre the pair's competition was won by Mrs G Phillippo and Mrs D Rose with a score of 61.7 per cent. In second place were Mrs J Battershill and Mr L Howard with 60.

On Thursday at St Mark's we hosted the Lowestoft Trophy competition and welcomed several visitors from Norwich. The trophy was won for the second year running by Phyllis Spratt and Philip Sutton from Beccles with a score of 61 per cent. Second, with 59.7 per cent were Bridget and Robert Shreeve. Third were John Hovell and Tony Geschke and fourth Phyl Howard and Eric Richardson.
