Brian Walsh, of Royal Avenue, pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared at Lowestoft magistrates court yesterday. The court heard on Tuesday (April 14) that he was stopped by a police officer on Harris Avenue on April 8 and when tested, he gave a reading of 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath - more than twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Walsh was also ordered to pay �288 in fines and costs.
