IN response to Louise Bartley's letter regarding dogs mess and it spoiling two of her outings (March 7) I too experienced the same thing when we decided to take our two young children to the woods behind the Fritton Decoy.
It was absolutely disgusting, not only was it on the ground in mass quantity but some dog owners had actually had the decency to clear it up but then had decided to rid of it there and then by hanging the bag on the nearest tree branch.
I too had the delight of a clean up operation, not shoes, but the wheels of my youngest child's toy; not what I had in mind when I packed my baby wipes.
When we left after 10 minutes of being there we obviously had to find an alternative location for our two not very happy children that had to get back in the car.
We decided on the children's play area next to Blundeston Village Hall where we managed to have an enjoyable play and I am happy to say was dog mess free.
