A sold out Santa's grotto, live music, carol singing and festive treats attracted a good turnout for a Christmas event.

Crowds headed to Oulton Broad in Lowestoft over the weekend.

The popular Carols on the Quay event returned with a bigger format this year on and around The Boulevard, Bridge Road and Nicholas Everitt Park in Oulton Broad.

With numerous festive stalls, fun activities, a craft fayre, and a Santa's Grotto the event was run by Nicholas Everitt Park Trust in collaboration with Oulton Broad Parish Council.

There were live music performances from The Imposters, Grace Wells, Magnolia, Kitty-May, The McLovens, Chris Pierce, Salty Groyne and Pop Chorus.

Festive treats - such as hot roasted chestnuts, mince pies and mulled wine - proved popular, as did visits from some of the animals from Oulton Broad Mini Zoo.

People were also able to visit Lowestoft Museum in Nicholas Everitt Park as a search to "find all the Santas" was held.

With all funds going to the Nicholas Everitt Park Trust, the festive event culminated in style with the popular annual Carols on the Quay on Sunday afternoon.
