A dog had to be put down and a man was left badly injured after being savagely attacked in Lowestoft.
The man was walking his dog at the North Denes caravan park between 6pm and 8pm on New Year's Eve, December 31.
His pet was attacked by two other dogs, both described as American bulldogs.
The man was then kicked and punched by a group of young men and women.
The victim was badly injured and his dog had to be put to sleep.
One man has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries. The man's dog was seized by police.
Police now want to speak to the owner of the second dog involved, described as a large white American bulldog.
Officer are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/40/23.
