A 24-year-old man who left another man with broken teeth after an assault has been warned he is facing an immediate jail term when he is sentenced next month.

Nathaniel Baldry, of St John’s Road, Kirkley in Lowestoft appeared via a prison video link before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, January 24 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis between July 4, 2018 and November 18 last year and possessing criminal property, namely £34,000 cash.

At an earlier hearing he admitted a charge of unlawful wounding during which the victim suffered some broken teeth and needed emergency dental treatment.

Judge Emma Peters adjourned sentence until February 23 or February 24 for a pre-sentence report and warned Baldry to expect an immediate prison sentence because of his previous convictions and the seriousness of the current offences.
