A partially renovated former commercial patrol vessel is set to be auctioned off this week.

People have the chance to own a boat as it goes under the hammer.

Three Rivers - an oak framed and cast iron former commercial patrol vessel - is being marketed by Auction House East Anglia.

The Three Rivers boat is due to be sold at an online auction on Wednesday, February 8, with a guide price of £5,000 to £10,000 plus fees.

The property description from the auctioneers states the boat is currently based at Brooke Business and Industrial Park in Heath Road, Oulton Broad.

It is described as "a 50ft wooden motor vessel with larch planking and teak deck" that is "partially renovated but in need of further restoration or conversion."

It adds: "The boat was originally commissioned in 1967 for the Northumberland and Tyneside River Board but is now out of the water and in storage following a partial renovation.

"The boat is not currently sea worthy but the sale includes the two Gardner 6LX Diesel Engines x 127BHP (not tested)."
