Students at a sixth form college are preparing for the next stage of their journey after a "strong set of results" was hailed.
Lowestoft Sixth Form students jumped for joy as they picked up their A-level results on Thursday morning with their teachers and classmates looking on.
The majority of the sixth form's A-level students achieved A*- C grades with particular success in STEM subjects where 91pc of A Level students achieved A*- B grades in Physics and 75pc achieved A* - B grades in Further Maths.
Chief executive Stuart Rimmer said: "We are pleased to celebrate a strong set of results from a resilient and hard-working group of students.
"Staff have supported students superbly throughout and this is reflected in the results."
Kerry Payne, principal of Lowestoft Sixth Form College which is part of East Coast College, said: "We are very proud of our students’ achievements and the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated throughout their studies.
"Staff taught this cohort with dedication and expertise to help unlock student potential.
"Once again, this year’s students will progress onto fantastic destinations including a range of high-quality apprenticeship and degree programmes.
"These include Archaeology and Anthropology degrees at Oxford University and Durham University; places in highly competitive Midwifery degree programmes at the University of East Anglia, Buckinghamshire New University and University of Suffolk, Marine Biology at Bangor University, Durham University for Sport Science and Forensic Science through the University of Suffolk at East Coast College."
A "great range of apprenticeships" have also been secured for learners.
With the students hailed for demonstrating "resilience and determination" in securing their academic and vocational achievements alongside the skills and character needed for their next steps, the principal added: "I am confident that they will continue to build on their successes into the next stage of their lives.
"They should be very proud of themselves and each other."
