Jet Adventures launched its debut Halloween Boat Trips in 2021, offering locals and tourists alike "a fascinating insight" into the spooky workings of the town's historic Lowestoft Harbour and Lake Lothing which proved "hugely popular."

Now relaunched for 2023, the Lowestoft Docks Ghost Tour will take people on a tour of Lowestoft Harbour and Lake Lothing during "the storm of Black Saturday in October 1882".

Jack Grint, crew for Jet Adventures and responsible for the Halloween trips, said: "The infamous storm of October 1882 was one of the worst to hit our coastline in recent memory, with over 13 vessels sunk in one night.

"It seemed fitting to share the history of this infamous storm, whilst incorporating it into a wider ghost tour of Lowestoft Docks showcasing some of the town's best unseen history.

"From the ghostly wherry at Oulton Broad to the ships graveyard, there's a huge amount of history to explore and enjoy in the 1831 built Victorian Lowestoft Harbour.

"Lake Lothing itself is said to be over 1,000 years old."

People can book onto these family friendly tours at the end of October by visiting the website www.jetadventures.co.uk/halloween/
