A week-long 'spooky spectacular' is coming to a stately home this Halloween.

Somerleyton Hall, near Lowestoft, is hosting its annual Halloween Haunt in the estate's gardens this half term.

The event is suitable for the whole family and will include a pumpkin trail throughout the 12-acre grounds.

The Halloween Haunt will take place from 10am and 6pm and visitors are advised to bring a torch with them as the gardens will not be lit and there will be ghosts and ghouls to watch out for.

The historic hall dates back to the 1800s and has been featured in film and television programmes such as The Crown.

Although the Jacobean manor house is no longer open to the public, the sprawling gardens of the estate offer a great space for all the family to explore.

The event will run for seven days between Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 29.

Admission costs £11.50 for adults, £9.50 for children over three years and £10.50 for seniors.

Tickets are available through Somerleyton Hall's website.
